Diversified International Student Exchange Plans
1. The University has some 132 renowned sister schools worldwide.
2. The University offers various scholarships encouraging students to study at sister schools and attracting international students to study at Fu Jen.
3. Each year, the number of incoming and outgoing exchange students amounts to up to 150.
4. The university implements the Exchange Students Advisor and Friendship Programs to help students adapt to the life at Fu Jen. The two programs are composed of local faculty members and students respectively.
International Exchange Activities that Emphasize Both Quality and Quantity
Besides exchange students, visiting professors and intaernational conferences, the University promotes high-quality joint programs and projects with renowned universities worldwide. The GEMBA Program offers dual-degree programs cooperating with University of Detroit Mercy, University of Hawaii at Manoa, San Diego State University, Texas A&M International University, and SUNY Stony Brook in USA. Starting from 2009, in a tri-degree program with UC San Francisco (USA) and the IQS, Ramon Llull University (Spain), students will receive a joint MBA in Management from all three universities. The University co-organizes the "International Leadership Incubation Program" with Sophia University in Japan, Sogang University in Korea, and the Ateneo University in the Philippines. There are also ongoing joint projects with Renmin University of China.

Currently more than 600 overseas Chinese students are enrolled at Fu Jen, and they come from more than 28 countries, including Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Korea, USA, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, South Africa, and Australia. Upon scholarship
Currently Fu Jen is arranging a special scholarship for foreign students,
the project would be ready in the near future. Meanwhile, foreign students
coming to Fu Jen to study Chinese in the Language Center could apply for
the scholarship offered by the Ministry of Education. Please refer to Language
Center web site for related information.

Overseas Chinese and Foreign Student Office is in charge of foreign student's
reception and following orientation affairs. Officers also provide necessary
assistance for administrative procedure.

Upon foreign student association
All student associations of Fu Jen welcome participation of foreign students
in their activities, and there is a special student association composed
by overseas Chinese and foreign students in order to promote friendship
among students. Here you have a brief presentation of the association.

Upon dormitories
There are currently nine dormitories in Fu-Jen University, five for males
and four for female students. The total capacity is 1548 persons. According
to different buildings, rooms are designed for 2 to 4 persons. According
to current regulations, bachelor degree students could apply for rooms with
4 persons, master degree students could apply for room with 2 persons. There
is no ¡§single¡¨ room for students. The fee varies from different dormitories,
it¡¦s around 7000 to 10000 NT (218 to 312 USD) per semester.
Concerning foreign students, the Language Center could arrange dormitory
reservation for their enrolled students. The Center for International Academic
Exchange is responsible for arrangement of dormitory for ¡§exchange students¡¨.
