The different types of courses offered by Extension include:
Noncredit Courses: We offer language courses in English, Japanese, German,
French, Italian, and Korean, and a diverse range of courses in Computers
and Information Systems, Business and Management, Accountings, Arts, and
Early Childhood Teacher Education Credential Courses.
Credit Courses: There are undergraduate credit courses and graduate credit
courses. Classes are open to anyone with nonmatriculated status. Students
can earn university credits, which may be counted toward a degree if they
enroll in a degree program later.
Overseas Study Programs and Winter/Summer Language Camp: To seek the highest
degree of perfection in the international arena, Fu Jen Extension has conducted
its Overseas Study Programs since 1990. Overseas destinations include but
are not limited to America, Japan, Australia and various European
countries. Extension starts organizing Language Camps for teenagers in summer
2000. Drawing on the resources and facilities of the University, we allow
teenagers to enjoy the university campus life and improve their language
competency at the same time.
Corporate Education and Training: Fu Jen Extension develops tailored programs
to meet the needs of professional development for business, government,
nonprofit, and other organizations. Programs are designed to support organizational
objectives as well as to meet specific needs of the work
force.
