FJCU Career Development and Placement Office wins 2018 Taipei City Youth Support Award
FJCU was one of only three universities in Taiwan to win the Youth Support Award this year.
The Taipei City Government hosted the second annual Business/Youth Support Awards on September 18, 2018. Taipei mayor, Ko Wen-je, presented the awards to universities which work closely with the Taipei Youth Salon (TYS) to promote the government’s career counseling program, and pay recognition to universities’ contributions in boosting their students’ competitiveness in the job market. The FJCU Career Development and Placement Office partnered with TYS in developing a career exploration curriculum and arranging student visits to TYS. This marks the second consecutive year the Office has won the award for its efforts. Director Kuang-You Cheng was present to receive the award.
